Terms, refunds & privacy

Who I am
Naturalis · Johanna · selfmap@thenaturalismethod.com. Online sessions are held in English or Spanish.
What this work is, and what it is not
You remain responsible for your own decisions about your health and life.
Offers and prices
- The Naturalis Self-Map™: a downloadable PDF workbook, with one short online session (15–20 minutes).
- The Naturalis Thread™: one live 1:1 online session, booked through Calendly after purchase.
- Resonance Field Map™ and The Naturalis Method™: offered only after a conversation, with their own written terms.
Prices are shown in euros at checkout and include VAT where it applies. Payment is made through Payhip, with Stripe or PayPal.
Refunds: Self-Map (digital product)
The Self-Map is digital content delivered immediately. At checkout you agree that delivery starts straight away and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the download is available (as provided, for EU customers, by EU Directive 2011/83/EU). For this reason, downloaded Self-Maps are not refundable.
If the file is damaged or does not arrive, write to me and I will fix it or send it again.
Refunds and cancellations: the Thread (sessions)
- You may withdraw within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, as long as the session has not yet taken place.
- After that, you may cancel for a full refund if you do so at least 15 days before your booked session.
- Cancellations with less than 15 days’ notice, and missed sessions, are not refunded.
- If I need to cancel, I will offer you a new date or a full refund.

Map-to-Method credit
What you paid for the Thread or the Resonance Field Map can be credited towards The Naturalis Method™ if you begin it within 60 days of your first session, as agreed with me in writing. The credit is personal and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Your materials
All workbooks, guides, texts and images belong to Naturalis. They are for your personal use. Please do not share, resell or publish them.
Liability
I work with care and in good faith. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for decisions you take based on the materials or sessions. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Complaints
If something is not right, please write to me at selfmap@thenaturalismethod.com. I will reply within 10 working days and do my best to find a fair solution.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Ecuador, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
Privacy
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Naturalis · Johanna · selfmap@thenaturalismethod.com. Naturalis and The Naturalis Method™ are trade names used by Johanna.
What data I collect
- Contact data: your first name and email when you sign up for a free guide, the 7 days of noticing, or when you write to me.
- Purchase data: name, email, billing country and order details when you buy through Payhip. Card or PayPal details are handled by Stripe or PayPal, never by me.
- Booking data: name, email, the time you book and your answers to booking questions, through Calendly.
- What you choose to share: your completed Self-Map and anything you tell me in a session. This may include information about your health, emotions or life. I treat it as sensitive and confidential.
- Basic technical data: cookies and similar data needed for the website and forms to work (see Cookies).
Why I use it, and on what basis
- To send you what you asked for (a guide, a short email series, your purchase, your session): contract or your request.
- To send you occasional notes about Naturalis after you sign up: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with one click.
- To prepare and hold your sessions using what you share about yourself, including health-related information: your explicit consent.
- To meet legal obligations: legal obligation.
Who helps me (processors)
I use trusted providers to run this site and my work. They only process your data on my behalf:
- Systeme.io (website, forms and emails)
- Payhip, with Stripe and PayPal (checkout, payment and delivery)
- Calendly (booking) and Zoom (online sessions)
- Microsoft 365 (email) and Google Drive (file delivery)
Some of these providers may store data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, they rely on the safeguards required by EU law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
I never sell your data.
How long I keep it
- Email list: until you unsubscribe.
- Session notes and what you share with me: for as long as we work together, and then up to 5 years, unless you ask me to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy (portability), and to withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to selfmap@thenaturalismethod.com. I will reply within one month.
I handle your data under Ecuador’s Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) and, if you live in the European Union, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can complain to Ecuador’s Superintendencia de Protección de Datos Personales or, if you live in the EU, to the data protection authority of your country.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and, only if you accept them, cookies that help me understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
Changes
I may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
